May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

You surely are anointed. I do believe God is looking down at you, very pleased at your love for Him and His word... your music is awesome and I do believe you will show the world what you are supposed to do. It sounds like you are going to be a very busy man with this gift that you have. Barb
I did hear your music. Lovely and moving. You have a gift, embrace and share your love to others. I enjoyed your song, I Lay them at your feet, the lyrics quite moving. God Bless, Barbara
Hey Russell,
Wow, your music is incredible. Is that you singing?
Barb
...your music is hauntingly beautiful and almost sounds jewish. when i visited a messianic temple some time ago, the music was very similar - so different - simply outstanding! is that you singing? if so, you have a gorgeous voice!! Della
I listened to all your songs last night. I can't possibly decide which one is my favorite. I believe that you will go far with your music. Beyond your imagination & expectations.

Great song! Great vocals! This should be heard by many more listeners.
Very powerful, heartfelt, and passionate. I love it, and hope many others hear it!
Congratulations on your first video!
Russ - The girl that sings with you is awesome - what a talent! Your voices were made for each other. I am amazed at the way your voices blend, compliment, and mesh together so well. God placed you together like Lennon/McCartney - Stevie Nicks/Lindsay Buckingham - Crosby, Stills, and Nash! You guys are blessed to have each other to praise and worship with together! How anointed! God bless Jubilant Cry! Joan
I have to say that "Your Word" is one of my favorites! The reasons: It's about the Word of God as well as His Words. The instrumentation is good, and your voice is velvety. And there is a mystic sound that I like, slightly new age. Jodonne
I'm just listening to your song (Good Samaritan) finally- at 1:15 am! What a terrific melody...who is the female who sings with you? Nice blend. Frances
Russell - It was a busy Friday at work. I wanted to be able to be positive and loving with my patients this afternoon and knew that I needed some inspiration (I pray alot at my job), then I remembered reading about "Jubilant cry" so I googled on my computer and listened to "Even Though". I thought about how much joy that must bring to God to hear y'all worship him with the very gifts that he has given you! Anyhow, my patients and I had a pretty good afternoon too. Please also share this with the rest of your group. Lee
WOW!!!! I listened to the music, read the words, and all I can say is WOW!!! I am SO impressed! The Lord has truly gifted you with the talent to spread the word! I'm not ashamed to admit that you have corrected my views of Christianity and Religion. Linda
Beautiful Music for the Lord!
The music on your website is beautiful!! Praise the Lord! He deserves all the praise and glory! Have a great day! Best regards, Marilyn
Russell,
The LORD created music and music moves my soul to weep before Him, to praise and then to enter into pure worship before HIM. The music is fantastic. Lee W.
Russell, I checked out the website. It is really great! I loved/enjoyed reading the scriptures! You are a multi-talented man blessed by GOD!!! I am glad you are using your God-given talents to His Glory! L.
Hi, Russell. I had the opportunity to check out your website and listen to your music. I enjoyed it very much... you have a terrific voice. Blessings. Dani
The music you write is very nice....it is a wonderful gift. K.
I was surprised: I heard world-weary, raspy vocals blending quite well with honest, hopeful (yet realistic) lyrics, backed by reverby drums, intriguing--almost psychedelic-- extras (did I hear a Moog synth?), topped off by some really nice guitar work that remind me a bit of The Church. Altogether, the songs sound a lot like some of David's darkest Psalms, while still retaining a sense of Joy. Jonni G.
Hey Russell, Man, that is a great song, somewhat of a rocker. The girls really liked it, too. Is that a banjo.....when that one instrument comes on it sounds alot like what the Greeks use in their songs. Of course your voice is what makes it and are you playing the drums? Jody H. Your voice seems to have something of a Cat Stevens quality, and the music is quite polished. Kerry |
Russell, just letting you know that I am praying for you and your music. I know the Lord is working. Jodonne |
Hi I really loved the songs, is that you singing? Sara Your music is awesome:) I like your heart. LC |
Hey Russell, I'm glad you sent me a new song. I really like it! Anyone struggling would choose to put their hope in Him from your song. I noticed that you often put a piece of verse in your songs, "when I am weak, You are strong." You're one of the best writers, players and singers all in one. JH
